At first it was obvious to me that she was guilty, but then I got to a point where I wasn’t so sure.  Then I felt maybe I had been just caught up in the hype and had bandwaggoned around all those that were shouting guilty.  I almost believed that she was innocent at one point.  Then I kept reading and reasearching and basically I am back at square one.  I know alot more about the case and the story behind it then I did 8 months ago, but after all of the countless hours spent on it, I am now only convinced that she is guilty.  There does not seem to be any other plausable explanation. 

The amount of evidence includes things such as Casey initially not reporting Caylee missing for entire month.  She then was caught lying to detectives as they questioned her on July 15th and 16th, a full month after Caylee had been last seen.  She was shown to have lied about her employment.  She had no job at all, but had money to go out to bars with her friends and go on shopping sprees.  This lead to the discovery that she had stolen money from her friends and family via blank checks, credit cards and cash.  Her capabilities to lie apparently rang true also to her uncle Rick Pleasea, her mother Cindy’s brother.  Rick got married when casey was 7 months pregnant and at his wedding it was quite obvious she was with child, except she and her mother Cindy adamantly insisted that Casey was not pregnant.  It would seem that the apple truly does not fall far.

Casey’s immediate family has seemed to rally around her as time progresses.  Cindy was the first to call 911 and report Caylee missing and also called 911 the same day to report her car stolen, though she knew Casey had taken it.  During the first few days since the case broke open with that 911 call oin July 15th, 2008, Casey’s mother Cindy, Casey’s father George and Casey’s brother Lee seemed to be convinced that Casey has something to do with Cayleemissing as they all gave interview with the local law enforcement and then the FBI.  Since then though, they now support Casey fully and have back tracked on many of their initial stories.  Lee claims that he believes everything that Casey tells him.

Casey has a story, which she still maintains is the truth that she dropped of Caylee to the babysitter on June 16th, 2008 at some apartment building steps like she had many times before.  When she returned later that day to get Caylee, she was nowhere to be found, and neither was the babysitter, who’s name according to Casey is Zenaida Fernandez Gonzales.  Casey has admitted to detectives that she did not have employment at Universal Studios as she had said and acknowledges she never dropped Caylee off at the Sawgrass apartments on June 16th, 2008.  The reason she says that she told those lies was that she was told to lie by the kidnapper.

The modified story Casey is telling is that the kidnapper, known as ZFG, Zenaida Fernandez Gonzales, Zanny, Zanny Nanny or just simply the nanny, told Casey to meet her in a local park on the morning of the 16th of June, 2008.   Jay Blanchard Park.  There, Zenaidawas waiting for her along with another female.  She claims they grabbed Caylee and brought her to a waiting van.  The supposed abduction was to last for 55 days at which point Caylee was to be returned to Casey unharmed as long as Casey learned to be a better person.  Apparently, Zanny felt that Casey was not leading a decent life and had been neglecting Caylee so they were taking Caylee as punishment.  The 55 days counted forward from June 16th fell exactly on August 9th, Caylee’s 3rd birthday.  Casey was supposedly instructed by Zanny to tell no one about what was going on or Caylee and the rest of Casey’s family would be in danger

Unfortunately that day came and went and no Caylee.  Instead on August 11th, a meter reader called 911 when he spotted something suspicious in the woods.  Deputies came and dismissed the claim saying they say nothing.  A school teacher was charged with trespassing in the same woods some time later, claiming her was old school friends with Casey Anthony and that he received a tip from a psychic that Caylee was buried in the woods.  He had originally found some belongings that looked like they were out of place in the woods and so he went to the Anthony’s home and showed Cindy what he had found.  Cindy dismissed it and said those items did not belong  and George’s private investigator Dominic Casey was in the same spot on November 11th searching the area with another P.I. James Hoover,  Hoover filmed this search which was later released much to Dominic’s dismay.  Dominic Claims a psychic also told him that Caylee was in the woods.  In the video, Dominic can be seen on the cell phone.  He claims he was talking to the psychic.  Hoover claims that’s not true.  He claims Dominic told him that Caylee was dead and that he knew where she was buried. 

The witness list against Casey is much larger than the list her lawyer has for people for her.  The case has come to a point where it is about tricks and subpoenas.  Casey’s lawyer is Jose Baez.  Her parent’s lawyer is Brad Conway.  Private detective Dominic Casey holds seperate retainers for both Casey and Casey’s parents.  In additional to the criminal case, there is a civil case playing out at the same time with the attorney office Morgan and Morgan which is representing a woman named Zenaida Gonzales that lives in Orlando.  Morgan’s client insists her reputation and life has been destroyed because Casey falsely accused her as being Caylee’s kidnapper.  The truth is, Casey and her family all maintain that Morgan’s client is not the same Zenaida that Casey says kidnapped and murdered Caylee, though none of them will say so under oath, under deposition with Mr. Morgan as advised so by their lawyers.  Though they say she’s not “the”  Zenaida, they will not say that Mr. Morgan’s client is not involved.   Cindy and George Anthony have refused to be deposed.  Lee has been deposed but was advised more than once by his lawyer not to answer a particular question, which then becomes “certified”, meaning the deposing lawyer, Mr. Morgan, will have to file a motion with the judge to try to compel Lee to answer the remaining questions.  Casey Anthony received her deposing questions from Mr. Morgan in writing.  Out of 15 questions, Casey answered only the first one.   What is your name?

The criminal case against Casey is set to begin in October, 2009.
